The internet can be a dangerous place. Just take it from one TikTok user who almost died while filming a stunt.

Jason Clark (aka @JasonToDoList) took to Instagram, where he revealed that one of his viral TikToks almost took his life. In the video, Clark dives into a hole in a frozen lake. He swims around before trying to find the whole that he entered through to resurface. In his post, he explains why this TikTok is "hard" for him to watch.

"I have never been this close to dying," he wrote before explaining how the frigid water impacted his body and how he nearly got trapped under the ice.

"I didn’t think my eyeballs would freeze so quick. The surface of the water where the hole was didn’t look any different than the bottom of the ice. When I flipped around and felt solid ice I thought I was at the hole," he continued. "I was so short on breath I couldn’t really see anymore. I had accepted that was it and I wasn’t going to make it. I swung my hand at what I though was just a lighter spot of ice and my hand came through. I then got a ton of energy to stand up. It took 2-3 breaths to regain my vision after resurfacing."

His near-death experience didn't stop Clark from performing the stunt again for another video. This time, he made the hole bigger so that he could be sure where to return.
