A Paid in Full sequel could be in the works.

During an Instagram Live conversation with Pandora's J1, Cam'Ron claimed to be in talks about creating a follow-up to the 2002 flick.

"These are conversations that we talked about in the last few months," Cam said. "Actually, a couple hours ago, something we talked about [was] pertaining [to] Paid in Full 2. I don’t wanna say 100 percent 'yes,' but we’re definitely in the talks about doing something similar to Paid in Full 1. ... It’s definitely a conversation going on right now about that, 100 percent."

Killa Cam starred in the film alongside Wood Harris and Mekhi Phifer. The title comes from Eric B. & Rakim's hit song and its plot is a loose interpretation of the rise and fall of Rich Porter's drug empire. Roc-A-Fella's JAY-Z and Dame Dash served as producers on Paid in Full, which was released through Dimension Films.

Paid in Full earned over $3 million at the box office and went on to become a cult classic. Due to its popularity, fans have been tossing around the idea of a sequel for years. But Cam told Pandora he feels like the wheels are actually beginning to move.

"I been asked this question several times, and I had to tell people, 'No. Not that I know of,'" Cam continued. "This is the first time I’m giving you a possibility of a 'Yes.'"
