John Legendis heading to Broadway—well, off-Broadway. The Grammy Award-winning singer is producing 3 Mics, a comedy written by the Chapelle Show's co-creator Neal Brennan.

The Associated Press reports that Brennan uses three mics in the show to tell comedic stories about his life and storied career. The Hollywood Reporter describes the three mics as three separate acts.

This is 3 Mics first trip to the N.Y. Stage, though it's been running in Los Angeles.

"To be on Broadway is a dream come true,” Brennan said in a statement obtained by the Hollywood Reporter. "Brando, Lansbury, Vereen...you name 'em, they played here."

He then realized the show is playing on N.Y.’s Bleecker Street. "Like I said, Bleecker Street is a fantastic street. There used to be a Kim's Video down there and it was wonderful,” he said.

Legend will co-produce the show with his Get Lifted Film partners, according to Deadline. 3 Mics will show at the Lynn Redgrave Theater from Feb. 23 through March 3.
