Toledo Zoo Summer Concert Series

Who knew that the zoo could uncage some of the music industry’s most talented artists. This summer, check out Darius Rucker (June 27), Buddy Guy (July 26) and Chicago (August 28) at the Toledo Zoo Amphitheatre.

Serving authentic Hungarian food since 1932, Tony Packo’s is your go-to spot for a chili dog in Toledo. And after a 1972 run-in with Burt Reynolds, it’s become customary for celebrities to autograph hot dog buns when they stop through.

Toledo Mud Hens

The Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Toledo Mud Hens have a full slate of games all summer long, in a stadium with some of the best views of Downtown Toledo.

Feast with the Beasts

While you’d think it should be vegetarian, Feast with the Beasts is the 10th annual fundraiser at the Toledo Zoo, serving up a five-course gourmet dinner and a wild animal encounter. The fact that nothing’s gone wrong after 10 years is a good sign.

Quickly becoming one of the best in America, the Maumee Antique Mall boasts over 200 dealers displaying new items daily. Great for bargain hunters and treasure seekers alike.

Levis Commons

As the largest shopping center in Toledo, Levis Commons boasts hundreds of stores and restaurants to satisfy all your retail needs. They even have their own Summer Concert Series every Saturday afternoon during the month of June featuring the best music in Northwest Ohio.
