Victoria’s Secret model Chanel Iman and New York Giants receiver Sterling Shepard revealed this weekend that they're expecting a baby girl.
After getting married in March, Iman announced she was pregnant with the couple's first child on Mother's Day with a message that said, "Daddy and Mommy can't wait to meet you. As I approach motherhood I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and mommies to be."
This weekend, Iman revealed the baby's gender by posting a photo of the couple cuddled up together on a pink couch, alongside a caption that explained, "It's a GIRL."
The post was part of a series of photos from Iman's baby shower this weekend in Oklahoma.
In May, the model told People, "Our fairytale continues as we wait for the birth of our baby. As our love grows each day, Sterling and I can’t wait to share it with our little one." In a separate Instagram post, she wrote, "We both are blessed in many different ways, that our love has created a wonderful new life and can’t wait for this ultimate blessing to arrive. We thank God for allowing us this opportunity to become parents and can’t wait to hold our baby in our arms!"
Shepard also chimed in with a Mother's Day message for Iman at the time, writing, "My baby is making my baby! Happy Mother’s Day, Chanel. I love you mama."
