Chris Pratt has officially filed for divorce from Anna Faris, according to TMZ.
On Friday, Pratt filed the proper legal documents to end his eight-year marriage with Faris. The pair cited “irreconcilable differences,” but TMZ points out that Pratt and Faris carefully sorted out the terms. Faris’ response to Pratt’s divorce papers almost mirrors his.
In the documents, they are asking for joint custody of their five-year-old son, Jack. They also list July 13 as their date of separation. They issued a statement on Aug. 6 announcing their separation.
TMZ learned that Pratt and Faris have a prenup, and the property settlement agreement is getting worked out.
After their split, Faris began dating cinematographer Michael Barrett. They met while working on the film Overboard.
