The Worst YouTube Tutorials

These videos are only good at being bad.

One of the greatest parts of YouTube is its ability to give us tutorials on just about everything: how to beat a boss from a video game; how to make the videos we're editing look vintage; how to play that one song on guitar that our crush likes—you get the point, and we're sure you've looked up your fair share

But, not every tutorial is helpful. Some are so bad that the amount of time you spent watching them could've been used to just figure out whatever you're trying to do on your own. Here, we've gathered those wannabe videos that leave us with more questions than answers, and, quite simply, waste our time.

Twerk Tutorial

Now this... this is just painful to watch. Sure, this has to be a joke (she admits before teaching that she isn't the exactly "best" dancer), but the 55 people that 'liked' this video may very well believe they're on the path to Iggy Azalea-level twerking. This will be the only time that we recommend viewing a Miley Cyrus video for twerk instructions.

Ukulele Tutorial

This guy spent, like, four minutes explaining the terms associated with the ukulele, and spent five seconds on what he wanted us to learn: how to play the C chord. He didn't even show us what notes make a C chord, he just played it. That's it. If this was unintentional, then we'd let it slide a little bit, but if he really thinks this is a good tutorial, note to the the dude in question: you should reconsider doing ukulele tutorials (or at least rename the title of your tutorials.)

Rubiks Cube Tutorial

"Oh, I'm supposed to tell them how to do it!" he says.

Yeah, dude, you are. What's most surprising about this video is that the guy actually completes the Rubiks Cube with several seconds to spare. Here it looked as if he had no idea of what he was doing. Sorry we ever doubted you, man.

Blowing Hard Boiled Egg Out Of Shell Tutorial

Why would you want to do this anyways? Seriously. Why would someone want to learn how to blow an egg out of a shell? Blowing an egg out of its shell seems like a crazier effort than peeling one. Even the videos where people sucessfully blow an egg out of its shell just look pointless. Even if we did want to learn, this the girl doesn't even show us how it's supposed to be done.

Beat Match and Mix Tutorial

We totally agree with one of the video's commenters who said that the girl "looks like she is being told what to do at gun point." There's this lost, deer-in-the-headlights look that she constantly gives the camera, that makes us wonder if she knows what she's doing (spoiler alert: she doesn't.) But hey—at least she tries to mix two songs together on the spot.

(Looking at you, Mr. Guetta.)

Frontflip Tutorial

Each step this guy attempts to break down isn't even matched to the video clip its supposed to, which, you know, is kind of necessary for a video in general, let alone a tutorial. Hey, at least the dude can do some incredible frontflips. He even does us a favor by adding a clip where he messes up a landing—which (we think) was supposed to inspire us to keep going, even when we mess up. Becoming a frontflip master isn't an overnight process. Thanks for that, man. Now, if you could make a proper frontflip tutorial, we'll be good to go.

Pin Up Girl Tutorial

If this were a real tutorial, the girl providing instructions would not be spraying room fragrance spray into the other girl's hair (plus, we seriously doubt that the other girl would be cool with that.) The video does make for a few laughs, though, which when considering the name of the user that uploaded the video, "Cheap Smoke Comedy," it was probably their goal. Nice troll, ladies.

Hair Tutorial

Man, this sucks: this girl actually loses some of her hair after trying to teach viewers how to use a curling iron. Fortunately, it's not too too bad. It could've been a lot worse. But, it looks like this girl should probably check out a few other hair curling iron tutorials before creating another one of her own.

Cup Tutorial

First off, this girl's enthusiasm for teaching other people how to do some cup trick is awesome (even though, you know, she's not really doing that great of a job.) Keep at it: we have faith that you'll become a hand-clapping, cup-tapping, cup-flipping master one day.

Black Ops 2 Zombies Tutorial

PAUSE: How are you going to tell us how to successfully survive Zombies on Black Ops 2 when you die within three minutes?

We didn't even care to check out the remaining 29 minutes that were left because of that (just kidding, we did). Dude makes it pretty far—and does a good job—but it's really not much more of a tutorial as it is a guy cussing out zombies and saying really weird things. If you don't learn anything from this video, at least you'll get a few laughs out of this psycho. Know anyone like this?
