Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau are official—Instagram official.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, the "Roar" singer took to the social media platform to share some photos from her time in Japan, and within the slides, she included some photos and videos with Trudeau.
"Tokyo times on tour and more," Perry captioned the post.
Dozens of fans took to the comments section to react to the couple's exciting next step.
"I just know that Justin is the new MINISTER of her Heart and we are SO HAPPY FOR THAT !!!!" one person wrote.
"TRUDADDY LAUNCH," someone else added.
"If you're happy, I'm happy for you too... You deserve all the happiness in the world," a third comment read.
"She woke up and decided to press the LAUNCH button," a fourth fan said.
Perry and Trudeau been romantically linked since July 2025 when they were spotted together at dinner in Montreal, Canada. A few months later, Perry and Trudeau seemed to confirm the dating rumors when they stepped out together at the Crazy Horse Paris to celebrate Perry's 41st birthday.
Though Perry and Trudeau have kept things pretty low-key, the former Prime Minister of Canada has been spending time with the pop star in Japan while she's on her Lifetimes Tour.
Days before Perry's Tokyo Instagram dump, Trudeau actually re-shared a photo originally posted by former Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida. He and his wife, Yuko Kishida, had lunch with Trudeau and Perry earlier in the week.
"Great to see you @kishida230. Katy and I were so glad to have the chance to sit down with you and Yuko. Thank you, Fumio, for your friendship and your continued commitment to both the international rules-based order and to a better future for everyone," Trudeau captioned his post on X.
This is Perry's first relationship since her June 2025 split from Orlando Bloom. Meanwhile, Trudeau split from his ex-wife Sophie Trudeau in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage.
