…Deadline is confirming Ryan Reynolds is set to play the titular role in Marvel’s big screen adaptation of the popular Deadpool comic. Reynolds originally played the character in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and fans wanted to see him get another crack at the character after Origins totally botched it.
The movie already has a release date (February 12, 2016), so it seems unlikely that anything would stop this reported deal from actually happening. Let the fast talking and dazzling swordplay begin!
