Appearing last night on The Pete Holmes Show, Patton Oswalt discussed just how nerdy he has remained even well into his adult years. How bad is it?
Well, he still has a Dungeons & Dragons play group, and his wife is so saddened by it that she told him that she would prefer if they just went to strip clubs instead. So, basically, pretty bad.
Oswalt’s complete ownership of his (perhaps) less-than-adult tendencies, however, makes him all the more endearing. So does this photo that he chose to share with the audience, which shows him as a young man, clutching his D&D rulebook ever-so-tightly.
