One of the less-important aspects of Tracy Morgan’s recovery from his horrific accident over the weekend is what will happen to his in-the-works projects.
The main one, currently, was to be a show on FXX starring Morgan and created/produced by It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s braintrust of Rob McElhenney, Charlie Day, and Glenn Howerton, as well as New Girl writer Luvh Rakhe. The show was supposed to begin production in just a couple months and premiere in January, but now it seems a certainty that all of that is on hold.
Today, FX issued this statement about what will become of the show:
It’s good to see the network doing the right thing. Given the star and the creative team behind the scenes, it seems like they have a winner on their hands whenever the show finally makes it to air.
