By this point, is there anything The Simpsons hasn’t predicted in it’s roller coaster 26 season run? It predicted the FIFA corruption scandal, the Higgs Boson mass, 2014’s Super Bowl matchup. It too predicted Donald Trump’s current presidential run, but let’s hope it’s wrong for once in its prediction that Trump actually becomes president.

Season 11’s episode “Bart to the Future” flashes forward to 2030 when Lisa Simpson is president. In the episode she talks about the country’s finances and mentions how its in shambles—no surprise there—thanks to President Trump. Just how bad is it? Secretary Milhouse announces the country is broke. That's what we get for believing children are the future.
