Celebrities say stupid things all the time, but some stars—Alec Baldwin, for instance—are repeat offenders. They seem to be aiming for that rarefied air of idiocy that forces you to stop and say, ‘Wait, what?’

This year was a banner year for famous people doing a whole lot of talking and no thinking, and one sorority girl who got her fifteen minutes by making Mean Girls look like Disney holiday classic. Ranging from pure delusion, laughable ignorance, dizzying arrogance, to downright stupid, these are honorary dunce caps for those without filters (but a lot of fame).
