A suspected accomplice in the fatal Penn Station shooting that killed one man and injured two others a week ago was arrested on Thursday morning. While said suspect was being interrogated he reportedly pulled heroin from his butt and snorted it, according to Manhattan’s district attorney.
Vincent Arcona, 27, who may or may not have been handcuffed at the time of the interrogation, is said to have "reached into his buttocks area" to retrieve the package. NYPD Detective Adrian Calemmo says he then put the package on the table before inhaling it, in what one can only assume was Arcona trying to get rid of the heroin. Arcona then tried to allegedly get rid of the evidence by throwing the packaging on the floor and hiding it under the table. Sadly for Arcona, Calemmo found it.
When the detective asked about the packaging Arcona said it had heroin when he was carrying it in his butt.
Arcona has been arraigned on evidence tampering and drug possession, but hasn’t been charged for his connection to the shooting at this time.
