An “Evil Dead” TV Series Is Headed to Starz

TV networks just can’t stop turning hit movies into TV series. CBS just ordered a pilot for a Limitless TV series and now Starz ordered a series based on Sam Raimi’s cult-classic The Evil Dead.

The series, titled Ash Vs. Evil Dead, will see Dead star Bruce Campbell reprise his role as Ash. Campbell gave a glimpse of what fans could expect: “serious deadite ass-kicking and plenty of outrageous humor."
