From finding new ways to raise funds and disseminate information, to his visits to the Google Plex, Townhall Meetings at Facebook headquarters, and Reddit AMAs, Obama and his team have figured out how to masterfully employ the web to reach the people. And, in turn, the people have embraced Obama. Sure, he has nearly 30 million Twitter followers, but that's not what we're talking about.
