Netflix has canceled The Vince Staples Show after two seasons, per Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter. The satirical comedy series, which premiered in February 2024 and returned for a second season in November 2025, starred rapper Vince Staples as a fictionalized version of himself.

The cancellation comes after the streamer released its What We Watched semi-annual report on July through December 2025 viewership on January 20, 2026. According to the report, Season 2 of The Vince Staples Show drew modest viewership, with the show logging 1.7 million views.

Season 2 picked up "in the wake of a tragic death," as Vince embarked on "a wild journey in search of inner peace," according to Netflix's official description. The series also starred Andrea Ellsworth, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Beau Billingslea, and Naté Jones.

The show was created by Vince Staples, Ian Edelman, and Maurice Williams.

Netflix also canceled freshman Western drama The Abandons, ending the Lena Headey and Gillian Anderson series after one season.
