People aren’t coming together as often as they used to.

According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), in-person contact and activities have nosedived. Staying in touch with loved ones through social media or technology can suffice, but shouldn’t be considered the gold standard of connection, and no one understands this better than Teremana® Tequila.

Founded by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Teremana® Tequila unveiled its newest campaign, Share the Table, Share the Mana, which has its roots in the principle of Mana, or “good energy.” This brand ethos has one goal—bring people together IRL.

"I've always believed that some of the best moments in life happen when we come together around the table,” Johnson said. “Being present, in the moment, just cool, engaging, fun, or even deep conversation. Keep it real.”

"With Share the Table, Share the Mana, we're taking that idea out into the world, creating spaces where people can connect with one another, share a great drink, and feel that energy for themselves,” Johnson continued. “I hope that people take that Mana with them, pass it on, and create even more moments like this."

To bring more awareness to the Share The Table, Share The Mana campaign, Teremana® partnered with Timeleft, an app designed to move people out of the digital world and into the real world. Together, they’ve launched Share the Table series, a campaign aimed at bringing small groups together to connect over Teremana®-inspired cocktails at participating bars and restaurants across the country.

Every Thursday, beginning in April and continuing through August, these meet-ups, which span 13 cities, are fostering what’s truly important: connection.

Maxime Barbier, CEO and Co-Founder of Timeleft, says, "In a world where everything is curated through a screen, sitting down with real humans and letting the moment happen. That's the radical act.”
