Golf, culture, and fashion collided Thursday night (March 12) at the Complex New York Players Only Club pop-up, giving golf enthusiasts and fashion lovers a chance to practice their swing in preparation for The 2026 PLAYERS Championship.

The Championship—which is a homecoming of sorts for the PGA Tour —is the year’s first major event and boasts one of the sport’s most treacherous holes. The Island Green at 17, located at Florida’s TPC Sawgrass, is a 137-yard par 3 opponent that frustrates even the most skilled golfer. Surrounded by water and with strong winds, this 17th hole has reigned supreme for some time.

Many tried their luck on the infamous course via a simulation, which proved that even virtually, the 17th hole was not to be toyed with. While some waited in line for the chance to tackle the tricky golf hole, other guests enjoyed curated cocktails, such as a Sawgrass Splash and exclusive merch from Gumtree Golf & Nature Club.

Attendees walked away with either a T-shirt, a hat, or a golf club headcover.

Was it fun times? Indeed.
