Liam Lawson is one of the best young Formula 1 drivers in the world. The 24-year-old New Zealander is intelligent and aggressive, and has earned a reputation as a "hard racer." And it shows during his appearance on this recent episode of Interview With a Magician. Sure, he's cool, but host Anna DeGuzman still awes him with her magic moves, legit leaving him speechless at moments. But when Lawson shares info about his native New Zealand with DeGuzman, he turns the tables and blows her mind, making for a truly memorable episode. So rev your engines and get ready to race into these five standout moments from Lawson's appearance on Interview With a Magician.

5. What Even is a “Kiwi”?
DeGuzman kicks this episode of Interview With a Magician off with a bang. Determined to welcome New Zealander Lawson to her table the right way, she produces a kiwi fruit from nothing but a burning piece of paper. The real trick though? Lawson explains that citizens of New Zealand are called "kiwis" after the island's native flightless bird, not the sweet-sour fruit. DeGuzman's not the only one blowing minds here.

4. A Magical Laundry Upgrade
You know DeGuzman also checks in with Tide evo, this episode’s official sponsor. Watch as she breaks down the difference between tricks and magic, and shows what happens when Tide evo tiles hit oil. It’s actually crazy for real.

3. He's a 10 But…
As the self-appointed representative of "aspiring" F1 WAGS, DeGuzman asks Lawson to reveal any "red flags" about racers, and then to play "He's a 10, but..." When asked how he'd rank a man without a driver’s license, Lawson keeps it real and gives a "three." Can’t parallel park? Again “three to four.” What else would you expect from one of the best racers in the world? Learn to drive, boys.

2. That Secret Song
Towards the end of the episode, DeGuzman has Lawson think of a song he used to listen to when he was little. He does, and writes it down on his phone where no one else can see. Then, DeGuzman writes down her guess for that song on her magical chalkboard. Still, neither has seen what the other's written. The song? "Out of Touch" by Hall & Oates. On DeGuzman's chalkboard? You guessed it, "Out of Touch" by Hall & Oates. Lawson is literally stunned into silence.

1. The Magic “Kiwi” Card
And, for the grand finale trick from Lawson's appearance on Interview With a Magician, DeGuzman has something special. Earlier in the show, Lawson had signed a playing card from DeGuzman's deck as part of another trick. DeGuzman takes that card, rips off a corner, then cuts into the kiwi fruit from the first fire trick. To close out the show, she has Lawson bite into the kiwi to reveal that exact corner of that exact ripped playing card. Crazy.
