They're levels to fitness.
Some hit the gym twice a week just to maintain, while others want to transform their bodies. However, most people think fitness is only about the physical and not the mind, or better yet, finances. Kendall Toole is one of the few people who understand that the concept of fitness is all-encompassing.
The health and wellness coach first burst onto the scene as a Peloton instructor, garnering the respect and love of many. Now the Houston, Texas, native is striking out with her own fitness app, NKO Club. Earning the name from a saying her dad, Papa Toole, always instilled in her, “You can knock me down, but you can’t knock me out,” Toole is bringing that same bold energy she's known for, but to her own fully-financed fitness platform.
As a newly minted entrepreneur, Toole has places to be and deals to make. So, of course, she has to look at the park. For the latest episode of Chime’s Ball on A Budget, Toole linked with host Ashley Nicole Moss at Miami’s Lost N’ Found Vintage to see if she could create an outfit, full of style yet still appropriate for a panel, for less than $300.
Toole’s strategy was simple; since she would be sitting, the focus should be on the top, and then she could worry about the bottom half later, which is exactly how she approached her fashion challenge. As she raided the racks with Moss, she spoke honestly about her struggles and just how long it took to get her fitness app off the ground. Here’s a hint: It took time, dedication, and real grit. Everything Toole already possessed as a fitness coach.
