Kai Cenat is weighing in on the accusations against former MrBeast collaborator Ava Kris Tyson.

Last month, Tyson, 28, was accused of "grooming" a now 20-year-old video editor named Lava, after an account named Prism42 uploaded a nearly 45-minute video detailing alleged evidence of their interactions when Tyson was about 23 and Lava was about 15.

Cenat, 22, spoke out about the controversy during a live stream, calling Tyson a "weirdo."

"How do you know the age of someone, knowing that you're a grown ass man, and still move forward?" Cenat said. "I don't understand it."

Tyson, who came out as trans last July, uses she/her pronouns.

On Monday, Lava denied the allegations against Tyson, telling YouTube creator Daniel "Keemstar" Keem that he "was not groomed by Kris Tyson" and did not meet her alone. Lava added that his family was present when hanging out with Tyson and MrBeast. He also clarified that there was nothing more to the edgy jokes they made in a Discord channel they interacted in at the time.

"Can you do me a favor and comment on these videos and tell them to stop spreading lies," Lava wrote on X. "This situation takes away from children who are actively being exploited everyday online. I am not a victim of anything being claimed in these videos or at all."

On Tuesday, in response to the controversy, Tyson posted that she would be "permanently" stepping away from MrBeast and social media.

"I humbly apologise to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, past actions, and to those who may feel betrayed by how I used to act online," Tyson wrote on X.

While Tyson apologized for her past online behavior, she vehemently denied the allegations of grooming.

"To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen. In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself," she continued. "I don't want these accusations to impact the hundreds of people who work at MrBeast, which is why I have stepped away."
