Season Three of Chime’s Ball on A Budget welcomed some of today’s biggest stars.
There were several musicians and actors (we see you, Teyana Taylor and Joey Bada$$), as well as some athletes (Jordyn Huitema and Chris Paul), and even a jeweler (Greg Yuna). All of these exceptional figures have one thing in common: they know and have proven that money does not equal style.
However, the guest for the season closer, Nigel Xavier, not only works in fashion, but he also collaborated with Chime to create a collection in honor of the series’ three seasons.
Nigel Xavier is arguably the brightest new talent within the fashion world, so when he linked with Chime to create an exclusive soccer-inspired jersey and hoodie for Ball On A Budget, it was a match made in fiscally-savvy heaven. The short-sleeved hunter-green knit is accented with cream trimmings. The piece comes alive with three lime green stars above the right breast pocket to honor the three seasons of Ball On A Budget.
For the hoodie, Xavier, whose best work comes alive when he upcycles, created a patched hoodie with graphic hits on the front, sleeves, and collar, and added his initials to the hood for a final Nigel Xavier touch.
Check out the final episode of Chime’s Ball on A Budget, and don’t forget to head over to Complex Shop to purchase the jersey, or hoodie (or both) for the fashionable sports fan in your life.
Move fast, though, it’s Nigel Xavier, so it will sell out.
