Gabrielle "Gigi" Alayah, the former girlfriend of Kai Cenat, attempted to dispel rumors about the end of their relationship in a new vlog and series of Instagram posts.
The streamers dated last year before Cenat announced in December that they had broken up. Post-breakup, Gigi denied that she had cheated on the AMP founding member. But over the last few weeks, many of Cenat's fans have insisted that Gigi had an affair — a theory she reacted to in a YouTube video titled "The real."
In one portion of the video, Gigi responded to accusations of being a gold digger by claiming that she was used to driving "luxury" vehicles long before dating Cenat.
"Before Kai, I was getting shit. I been had shit," she said. "Why the fuck would I relationship with somebody and not get the shit I was already getting?"
Gigi also denied rumors that she had been involved with YoungBoy Never Broke Again, saying that Cenat knows she wouldn't "play that cheating shit." The streamer went on to allege a friend of Cenat's, possibly rapper BTB Dezz, tried to hit on Gigi after their breakup.
"Now that I remember, when I first started fucking with Kai and he did some shit that really bothered me and I stopped fucking with him...you was DMing my friend, telling my friend that you wanted to fuck with me," Gigi said in the clip below.
Elsewhere, Gigi defended Cenat by claiming that he wanted to "better himself" by reading advanced literature and eating healthier. But her messages also took a more aggressive turn.
In Instagram Story posts, Gigi said that Kai's assistant, Bri, tried to get between them when the assistant alleged that Gigi used a Finsta to communicate with other men. Gigi denied that she created the account, and claimed that it was Cenat who both cheated and also prevented her from communicating with her male friends out of jealousy.
"I've admitted since day one, I [crossed] that boundary by answering for him and I also took accountability and immediately apologized," Gigi wrote on Instagram Stories about continuing to be in contact with male friends despite
Cenat's objections. "I'm not afraid to speak my wrongs ! But the conversation was never disrespectful, it's also no excuse ... BUT ms THICK NECK since we going there why you still not telling the full story?"
She went on to remember a time where, she said, Cenat had "a bitch in his crib at 5 am," something she just "accepted" in order to "call it even," presumably equating that with her remaining in contact with male friends.
While Gigi continues to tell her side of the story, Cenat has recently been focused on self-improvement and launching his Vivet clothing line.
