What's not to like about Anthony Bourdain? He's funny, smart, and generally doesn't give a shit. His Twitter is similar—irreverent, insightful, and good for some laughs.
Still, Bourdain has his critics, but behind every great man is a pack of haters. Let the haters hate and enjoy some of Mr. Bourdain's wisdom with his 25 greatest tweets.
On Hipsters
On Hipsters
Bourdain can talk shit with the best of them, and being in SXSW, hipsters are an easy target. Just don't tell him that (gasp!) he might be a hipster too.
On What He Actually Does
On What He Actually Does
We've all had moments like this, whether it's at the airport bar or it's three in the morning, drinking whiskey alone with the lights out and watching Ancient Aliens on Netflix.

On Profiting
On Leg-Breaking
More vitriol, this time on the semi-sly, directed at Paula Deen over her double announcement about having diabetes and becoming a spokesperson for a diabetes medication. This one has mysteriously disappeared from his Twitter page.
On Rush Limbaugh
On Rush Limbaugh
Bourdain's probably not the only person who has experienced those feelings. Completists should check out the rest of his exchange with Joe Rogan on Limbaugh for extra giggles.

This is a pretty straightforward example of the awesomeness of Bourdain, or at least the awesomeness that he surrounds himself with.

We can't figure out what, exactly, Cavendish did, but let this be a lesson to all reporters: Beware the sharp tongue of Anthony Bourdain.

Snaps back at Paula Deene for her critiquing HIS eating habits on camera...irony?
On Applejacks

Bourdain waxes philosophical on the ongoing (?) identity crisis of the cereal Applejack's.
On Portugese Music
On Portugese Music
Drowning one's sorrows in booze and music is nothing revolutionary, but listening to traditional Portuguese music...and lamenting the chicken hearts running the world? We can't even begin to figure out what that means.
On Clubbing
On Clubbing
Of course he's going to call out gelled-up Ed Hardy boyz milling outside of a Midtown nightclub. This is not only what he stands for, but probably one reason why Twitter was invented.

On James Beard
On the James Beard Foundation
The James Beard Foundation is an organization that promotes the culinary arts (from restaurants to chefs to food journalists to cookbook authors). They deal with anything food and drink related, and also give out yearly awards. Bourdain, despite being honored by them in 2008, has always been a vocal critic of the Foundation. What is that saying—"don't bite the hand that feeds you"? But Bourdain bites everything.
