Handler took on the entire Lohan family during a skit involving the family visiting Lindsay in jail. In the spoof, Handler depicted Dina as a drug and alcohol smuggling mother, while other actors portrayed unflattering versions of Michael, Lindsay and Ali.
Serbia

According to Serbian Defense Minister Dragan Sutanovac, Handler and her panel, which included Chris Franjola, Natasha Leggero, and Greg Proops, "attacked" Serbia and the Serbian people regarding their treatment of Amy Winehouse during the singer's show in Belgrade on an episode of Chelsea Lately. The comedian read the Serbian Defense Minister's statement calling Winehouse's show "a shame and a disappointment," to which Handler retorted with her comment above. Angered citizens of the country went so far as to start a Facebook petition to draw attention to Handler's insults.

Anyone who picks a fight with Handler is almost guaranteed to get a response. Jay Mohr learned it the hard and humiliating way after tweeting his encounter with Handler at the Colorado hotel they were both staying at for the respective comedy shows. Mohr tweeted, "Just saw Chelsea Handler in the lobby of my hotel. She was so drunk she could hardly walk. I think someone has a wee bit of a problem."
