PlaqueBoyMax’s sexual health choices made headlines this week.
On Monday, a video surfaced of the streamer revealing that he got a vasectomy after enduring a “failed” semen retention plan.
Since the news came out earlier this week, TMZ caught up with the 23-year-old to get more insight into why he underwent the procedure.
“Just not ready for no babies bro,” PlaqueBoy said. “We love women, bro. They protect theyself, we gotta protect ourselves too.”
“If it come time for me to [have] kids…vasectomies are reversible,” he explained. “We are feminists over here.” When asked if he was starting a trend, he said he “might” be, adding, “Everybody just gotta protect theyselves.”
What PlaqueBoy said regarding reversal is true, though with some caveats. According to the Mayo Clinic, “Almost all vasectomies can be reversed. However, this doesn't guarantee success in conceiving a child. Vasectomy reversal can be attempted even if several years have passed since the original vasectomy—but the longer it has been, the less likely it is that the reversal will work.”
Earlier this week, when speaking about his unsuccessful semen retention plan, PBM said he “worse than failed that bitch.” He continued, “Basically, bro, I ain’t gon’ lie, gang. Put two and two together. I can’t be doing this shit. Like, I’m not [going to] be doing this shit. … Not having no PlaqueBoy Juniors. So, I got a vasectomy.”
He then repeatedly said he “slipped up,” though he didn’t share any more information about the vaguely referenced incident. He did say that he recalled “panicking” and feeling “scared,” though “everything’s good” right now.
