Pedro Pascal is having a blast.
The Last of Us actor appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live, where the host brought up his crazy morning coffee order, which went viral in 2023 when a fan ran into him outside a Starbucks and unintentionally revealed his special concoction.
According to the label, Pascal starts his day with a venti coffee containing an iced quad espresso with extra ice and six total shots of espresso.
Kimmel called the order “insane.”
“I cannot begin to tell you how violating this was!” Pascal said. “There’s so much context to why it has become six shots of espresso,” he explained. “It was always a quad but then I feel like the cups got bigger and, I don’t know, the shots got less strong. At some point, it became six.”
Pascal continued, “It was an incredibly private morning ritual that I never wanted anyone to know about.” He also shared that he doesn’t have any “more coffee for the rest of the day.”
“This isn’t even coffee — this is a methaccino at this point!” Kimmel quipped.
“You sip it and you get really high, and you answer emails and stuff,” Pascal said of his morning routine.
One shot of espresso typically has 63 to 64 milligrams of caffeine in it, per US Weekly. That means Pedro’s venti drink contains around 380 milligrams of caffeine. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends 400 milligrams of caffeine for an adult per day.
Meanwhile, you can catch Pascal in Season 2 of 'The Last of Us' when it premieres April 13 on HBO.
