Orlando Bloom's Son's Name Misspelled in His New Morse Code Tattoo

Orlando Bloom’s sweet gesture towards his son slightly backfired.

The actor took to Instagram on Tuesday to share his newest tattoo on his arm: a fine black line with dots and a sequence of numbers. “New #tattoo can you guess who?” he wrote alongside the image.

Bloom told a fan, “It's Flynn in MORSE CODE and his [date of birth] and time,” according to ET. However, some followers pointed out that Flynn’s name was spelled incorrectly in Morse code.

“If the Morse code is supposed to spell out Flynn then there is a mistake,” one user wrote, per ET. The tattoo actually reads “Frynn”; an additional dot before the “Y” would have rectified the mistake.

Bloom’s tattoo artist also recognized the error on his Instagram, writing, “A beautiful reminder for @orlandobloom of his son 👨‍👦 and yes, a dot is missing, we know, it will be fixed :).”
