Halloween photos of Orlando Bloom posing with Rachel Lynn Matthews are making the rounds online.
But what’s so special about these pictures? Well, Matthews—who’s rumored to be dating Bloom—is dressed as Katy Perry from a very specific day. The actress wore a blue bodysuit and a black wig, similar to what Perry wore during her Blue Origin space mission in April.
Matthews shared the photos on her Instagram Story, which showed Bloom wearing a skeleton costume with his arm around Matthews. In another image, Matthews recreated the much-talked-about photo of Perry when she kissed the ground upon returning to earth from the 11-minute trip, and wrote, “Take up space!”
In early July, Bloom and Perry confirmed their split after being together for nine years, and engaged for six of those years. The pair have one child together, 5-year-old Daisy Dove.
"Katy has every intention of maintaining a positive and respectful relationship with Orlando," a source told People at the time. "He's the father of their daughter, and that will always come first for her."
"They've been through a lot together, and while they've decided to go their separate ways, there's still a mutual respect between them,” the insider continued. "They're still very much in touch and co-parenting Daisy together. For the sake of their daughter, they're committed to keeping things amicable."
The timing of everything is interesting, considering Perry released the new song, “Bandaids” on Nov. 7, which appears to be about Bloom.
“Got so used to you letting me down/No use trying to send flowers now/Telling myself you’ll change you don’t/Band-Aids over a broken heart,” she sings, seemingly about a relationship gone awry.
According to Cosmopolitan, Perry is dating Justin Trudeau, with whom she's been linked since late summer. The pair later hard-launched their relationship at Perry’s birthday on Oct. 25.
Though Perry and Bloom haven’t publicly shared much about their split, Bloom did comment on his life post-breakup with Today’s Craig Melvin in September.
"There's been some personal changes in your life since you were here the last time. How are you doing?" Melvin asked.
"I'm great, man. I'm so grateful," Bloom said. "We have the most beautiful daughter. You know when you leave everything on the field like I did in this movie [The Cut]? I feel grateful for all of it."
He added, "And we're great. We're going to be great. Nothing but love.”
