Millie Bobby Brown is looking forward to saying "I do" to fiancé Jake Bongiovi.
The actress opened up about her upcoming wedding in a new interview with Women’s Wear Daily, telling the outlet, “I can say that the [wedding] planning is going—it’s so fun and it’s such an exciting time in my life.”
When discussing how she’ll keep her nuptials private, the 19-year-old said, “I think probably drawing the curtains, just because there are only so many moments in life that you get only once. And to have everyone’s opinions and eyes looking at that just feels unnatural to me.”
“I feel it’s important to keep those things, those small precious moments in life, really close to your chest," she added.
The couple was first romantically linked in 2021 and made their red-carpet debut in March 2022 at the BAFTA Film Awards in London.
Brown announced her engagement to 21-year-old Bongiovi on April 11. In May, she penned a special note to her husband-to-be on Instagram for his birthday, writing, “This sums us up. In bliss, exploring together. I am eternally holding your hand. happy birthday fiancé. I love you.” They celebrated their engagement with a party in June.
