Marvel Shares 'Eternals' Teaser With New Footage

Marvel has shared a new teaser for the upcoming movie 'Eternals.' The clip features Kit Harington, Angelina Jolie, Brian Tyree Henry, Kumail Nanjiani, and more.

Marvel Studios and Disney have shared new footage from the forthcoming movie Eternals.

The film is director Chloé Zhao’s—known for helming Nomadland—first foray into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Eternals follows an immortal, alien race who have been in hiding for centuries, and who have to work together to defend humans from the Deviants.

Zhao has previously said that the film will be shot in her particular style: “I shot exactly the way I wanted to shoot,” she toldThe Hollywood Reporter last September. “On location. A lot of magic hour. Three-hundred-sixty degrees on the same camera as I did on Nomadland. Same rigs. It’s a bit surreal. I’m still waiting for the shoe to drop. It hasn’t. I think I got lucky in that Marvel wants to take risks and do something different.”

The film boasts a star-studded roster with Salma Hayek, Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kit Harington, Angelina Jolie, Barry Keoghan, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kumail Nanjiani. The Eternals made its debut in the MCU in 1976’s The Eternal’s No. 1.

The new Eternals movie is set to open exclusively in cinemas on Nov. 5, rather than see a combined theatrical and Disney+ release, like Black Widow. “I think a theater would be my preference and Chloé [Zhao]’s preference. We will see where we go with it,” Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said in August.
