Marlon Wayans is showing his support for Pride Month and clapping back at homophobic trolls.

On Friday, the actor and comedian took to Instagram to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community. “Happy Pride to all my LGBTQ+ peoples,” he wrote. “P.S. I’m STRAIGHT… well, according to my child CISGENDER male. I just love and support my peoples.”

Upon seeing that his post’s comment section was being flooded with negative criticism, Wayans posted another image from the shoot.

“Yeah and just for the HATE MONGERS … I’m posting ANOTHER,” he wrote.”

“As a father of a child in the LGBTQ+ community I show my support. Zero fucks what people think. If i lost you… GOOD! Your hateful ass never loved me in the first place. How can you love anyone when you’re too busy judging. Some of y’all funny. I’m a troll. I’ll post all day.”

He didn’t stop there, either. In a third post, he wrote, “You mad?! I can do this shit ALL DAY… but instead I think I’ll do it ALL MONTH. HAPPY PRIDE.” He added, “Love and Laughter will always drown hate.”

In another post, Marlon shared what he told someone who claimed he "failed as a father" by bringing up his niece Chaunté Wayans, who is gay. "I should have my niece fuck you with her strap on," he replied.

In the caption for the post highlighting the exchange, the comedian wrote:

I’m not regular… don’t come for me. Just quietly unfollow and fuck off. I will make you question your life and its pitiful existence. On my platform i support what the f*ck I choose. Dickheads like this try to bully and I’m not that guy. And again…
HAPPY PRIDE🌈 D*ckheads

In a 2020 post to IG, Marlon celebrated Chaunté's birthday, writing, "Happy bday to one of the funniest, sweetest, angriest, loving people i know @cwayans so proud of you baby girl. I love you so much. One of my favorite people. Uncle adores you. Y’all wish her happy bday and check out her podcast..."

Last fall, the 51-year-old father opened up about his kid, Kai, coming out and transitioning.

“I have a daughter that transitioned into a son,” Wayans told The Breakfast Club last November. “My daughter Amai is now Kai, and so, I talk about the transition. Not her, his… their transition, but my transition as a parent, going from ignorance and denial to complete unconditional love and acceptance.”

Dwyane Wade—who also has a child who’s trans—praised Wayans for supporting his son’s transition.

“I think unconditional love allows us to step in and listen and learn of what we do not know and what we were not taught, especially in the Black community,” Wade told Variety last November, following Wayans’ Breakfast Club interview.

“I salute Marlon for speaking out and speaking up about this experience with his child just the same way as I’ve done. We’re just the voices that are speaking for our kids right now before they get an opportunity to grab that microphone and speak for themselves. I salute him.”
