Liam Neeson fell in love while filming his most recent pic, Blacklight.

The actor told the Australian morning show Sunrise that unfortunately the woman was “taken,” per CNN. Neeson was on the show to discuss the movie when he revealed the story behind his would-be romance.

“I loved Melbourne, I loved our Australian crew,” Neeson said. “Every department was superb but they were their own people, do you know what I mean? They had a great sense of humor.” He continued, “I made a couple of pals and fell in love once while I was there, but she was taken.” He did not divulge the woman’s identity.

“I look forward to going back. I really do,” he said about returning to Australia.

Amy Schumer took a crack at Neeson on Instagram, where she posted a screenshot of the Daily Mail’s story, writing, “Taken 4?” and tagging the outlet.

Neeson shot Blacklight in 2020, explaining how he had to quarantine in a “good hotel” in Australia and that Sydney was in lockdown for a couple weeks.

The Taken actor is quite private about his love life since the death of his wife Natasha Richardson, to whom he was married from 1994 to 2009. The couple have two sons, 26-year-old Micheál and 25-year-old Daniel. Richardson died when she was 45 from a head injury sustained in a ski accident in Montreal, Canada.

Back in 2016, Neeson told the Independent he was dating an “incredibly famous” woman, though he wouldn’t reveal who she was. “I’d embarrass her if I said her name,” he said. “I’ll have to do my best for her. It’s amazing how far a simple bunch of freshly picked flowers will go in a lady’s life, I find.”

Blacklight is set to release on Feb. 11.
