Lena Headey wasn’t satisfied with the way her Game of Thrones character, Queen Cersei Lannister, died.

In a new interview with The Guardian, Headey admitted she had her “own gripes” with the way the show ended. “I invested as a viewer and I have my favorite characters. And I’ve got a few of my own gripes. But I haven’t sat down drunkly with David [Benioff] and Dan [Weiss] yet,” she told the outlet.

When she was asked what she would say to the showrunners during their drunken outing, Headey said, “I will say I wanted a better death.”

“Obviously you dream of your death," she continued. "You could go in any way on that show. So I was kind of gutted.” She did concede that Benioff and Weiss “couldn’t have pleased everyone. No matter what they did, I think there was going to be some big comedown from the climb.”

GoTwrapped its last season in May, ending in a number of deaths for some of its main characters, including Cersei and her lover Jaime Lannister. The two perished in King’s Landing, embracing each other as the castle crumbled around them.

Maisie Williams also admitted in an interview that she hoped Arya Stark would get the chance to kill Cersei.

“I wanted Arya to kill Cersei even if it means [Arya] dies too,” Williams told Entertainment Weekly. “Even up to the point when Cersei’s with Jaime I thought [while reading the script], ‘He’s going to whip off his face [and reveal its Arya]’ and they’re both going to die. I thought that’s what Arya’s drive has been.”

However, in the end, she believes Arya did enjoy a “happy ending.”
