Between Keke Palmer’s latest role in Nope and comparisons of her career to Zendaya, Palmer has been a hot topic.

Now, it seems the actress is also getting comparisons to Whitney Houston, whose 49th birthday just passed on Aug. 9.

When a fan tweeted, “Keke Palmer and Whitney Houston act exactly the same” on Houston’s birthday, Palmer responded, writing, “Let’s get the movie made y’all. I’m ready to ACK, we abt to weep in the theaters.”

Perhaps a biopic on Houston’s life is in the future. But for now, Palmer’s portrayal of Emerald Haywood—who is left in charge of her father’s ranch, alongside her sibling, OJ Haywood (Daniel Kaluuya)—in Jordan Peele’s Nope has everyone raving.

In late July, Peele shared why he knew Palmer was perfect for the role, telling Complex, “Yes, I did know off the bat that [Palmer] was going to be Emerald. In fact, as soon as the character came to me it was Keke. We met early on and I just got a sense of her and got a sense of what she could bring to the role and I basically wrote it for her. I wrote it for her and Daniel and she is just everything you want her to be. She really is that wonderful and that talented.”
