Keke Palmer is curious about Blueface’s new face ink.

Palmer joined the rapper during a livestream, where she asked when he started getting tattooed during his prison sentence. The “Thotiana” rapper revealed that it was eight months into his incarceration, and that he got the tattoos “one at a time.”

When she asked if he did it to “pass the time,” he said it was a childhood dream of his to be extremely tattooed.

“I always told myself as a kid that I was gonna be one tatted up motherfucker,” he explained. “Being in jail just made me feel like I didn’t have no reason not to do it. Maybe that’s what it was, ‘cause I already had a couple face tats,” he said, adding, “I’m in prison, shit, I ain’t got no job interview.

Earlier this month, Blueface sat down with DJ Vlad, who asked more in-depth questions about what exactly the artist got inked on his face. The lineup includes several logos, including the MLB, Chase, and Washington Nationals, as well as more generic tattoos of a paper plane and poker chips.

During the conversation, Blueface said that an inmate at the jail had a tattoo gun, and he would get tattooed in his cell. But because getting tattooed in prison is a violation, he says he did get a “tattoo write-up.”

In August 2024, the 28-year-old was sentenced to four years behind bars for a battery incident and a probation violation. He was ultimately released in November after he became eligible for parole.

Over the last year, photos and videos surfaced of Blueface in prison with several new face tattoos. Last November, his mother, Saffold Harvey, reacted to a TikTok of her son rocking new ink on his cheeks and forehead, expressing her disappointment that he was absent from his three kids’ lives due to his incarceration.

"Your kids are suffering. Javaughn’s confidence has fallen and you play arts and crafts on your face is diabolical," Saffold wrote on Instagram. "Your half a father wasn’t as sad as you are right now. You better start praying and pull yourself together! You are more than a lame ass jail ninja. You a child of God and father of three."
