Hollywood is allegedly “scared” of the power of streamers.
N3on recently sat down with filmmaker John Devaney, who claimed he heard that Hollywood is wary of streamers like N3on, Kai Cenat, and Adin Ross.
“Hollywood is so scared of you and all your buddies. They are so scared of you, Kai, and Adin. You guys are commanding all the attention in the world. You’re so much bigger than Leonardo DiCaprio. That guy makes a post—it doesn’t go anywhere,” Devaney explained before adding, “I’m really delighted to meet you.”
“That’s crazy to hear that,” N3on responded.
In another clip from the pair’s conversation, Devaney also claimed that big corporations control politics and election outcomes.
“The false narratives that the big machine of media is pushing down on to everybody,” Devaney said. “So like all the people with the money in the big, big corporations. They own movie studios, and they own all the news networks. They can spread a false narrative to support politicians, to influence all these elections.”
Elsewhere during N3on’s stream, the 21-year-old apparently dropped in on a $40,000,000 mansion via helicopter, which landed on a water platform.
If you’ve never heard of Devaney, it’s because he only recently expanded his purview to film. He initially made his name as a financier, and in 2024, launched his production company, Manor House Films, which is “dedicated to developing purposeful films that illuminate the world's most pressing issues,” per his website.
According to Deadline, so far, Devaney has financed the drama The Prince, scripted by David Mamet, and the thriller City of Dreams, which marks the feature directorial debut of Mohit Ramchandani.
