Halle Berry isn’t pretending in bed.
In a sneak peek at the Oscar-winning actress’ conversation with the Sex With Emily podcast, Berry said she is no longer “afraid” to put herself first.
“We had to get there so that he felt good about bringing us to orgasm,” she explained to host Emily Morse. “So we had to say that we did it so that he would feel good about himself. Because what is that doing? That's putting his needs before our own. And now I don't do that anymore.
“I'm like, ‘No, I cum first like you cum first to you.’ We both deserve to have this be a mutually enjoyable experience where we both can roll over and go to sleep because we feel good. Not one snoring and one looking… [like], ‘What the fuck am I doing?’”
Berry recently confirmed that she and her longtime partner, Van Hunt, are engaged. Prior to her impending marriage to the music artist, Berry had been divorced three times: David Justice, Eric Benét, and Olivier Martinez.
“You know, you get to be 54, you just kind of done it a few times, three, to be exact,” she told People at the Los Angeles premiere of her new film, Crime 101, on Feb. 10. “You just kind of know when it's right, ’cause you know when it's wrong.”
Back in 2024, Berry revealed that she and Hunt were “madly in love” before they had sex. The pair met through Hunt’s brother and got to know each other over a 6-month period via texts and phone calls. They discussed “the good, the bad, [and] where all of the bodies were buried.”
"It was the first time I was madly in love before I had sex. That has never happened to me, ever," Berry added. "Talk about one of those life-changing, beautiful experiences. It was magical, just magical."
