Armie Hammer is back.
The maligned actor took to Instagram this week to announce the launch of his new show, The Armie Hammertime Podcast, which he described as a long-form interview series.
"So, I've got a little bit of news; I think some of you are going to love this, and some of you are going to fucking hate it," he said in an IG video. "But basically, I'm starting a podcast, and the original idea of the podcast was sort of the concept that over the course of a day every single person you interact with knows at least one thing that you don't. So, teach me what that one thing is."
He continued, "I want to have long-form, interesting conversations with people who have tools or skills or have acquired wisdom or even just know random shit that I don't know [and] I want to learn.”
The 38-year-old, who recently moved back to Los Angeles, admitted that he is a work in progress.
"I've been gone for the last four years and now I'm back, you know," Hammer explained. "What are you going to do? So it's going to be a sort of journal, a chronicling of putting my life back together."
He released the podcast’s first episode on Monday, where he sat down with comedian and actor Tom Arnold for an hour-long conversation. During their chat, the pair discussed previous allegations of Hammer being a cannibal, and him having to deal with crisis PR teams when he was accused of physical and sexual abuse by several women.
"Like I said, some of you are going to love this. Some of you are going to hate this, but tune in," Hammer explained. "We're going to have interesting conversations with interesting people, and yeah, let you into my world a little bit. Hope you enjoy."
Hammer hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2022’s Death on the Nile, and he doesn’t seem to be working on any upcoming acting projects.
