Amanda Seales isn’t pleased with being left off the farewell episode of the talk show, The Real.

The actress took to Instagram on Saturday to respond to promotion of the finale, which didn’t include her. “So apparently The Real, in their finale episode, did promo,” she said in an Instagram video. “I am not featured in this thumbnail and I am not featured in the farewell episode, apparently. I’ll have some things to say about that.”

She also reacted to the news on Twitter, when a fan inquired as to why Seales wasn’t featured in the promo. “They can absolutely go duck themselves with a chainsaw for doing so,” Seales wrote.

The Insecure star joined The Real in 2020 for its sixth season, alongside a panel that starred Adrienne Bailon, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Tamera Mowry-Housley. However, Seales left five months later and revealed why: “It doesn’t feel good to my soul to be at a place where I can not speak to my people the way they need to be spoken to and where the people that are speaking to me in despairing ways are not being handled.”

The Real came to an end earlier this year after eight seasons, with Loni Love reportedly citing COVID-19 expenses—and to cap off the show, the producers announced a farewell episode.
