Amanda Bynes is celebrating her weight loss.
The former child star hopped on her Instagram Story to share a paparazzi photo of herself in Los Angeles.
“I usually don’t like paparazzi pictures because I was 180lbs but now I’ve lost 28lbs on ozempic!” she wrote. “I’m down to 152lbs. I know I still look big but this photo is really inspiring to me!”
In June, the 39-year-old revealed that she had started taking the weight loss drug to “look better in paparazzi pictures.” At the time, she said that her starting weight was 173 pounds and that she hopes to “get down to like 130.”
“So excited,” she said, adding, “I will post about my Ozempic journey, of course.”
In November, Bynes shared an update saying she had lost 20 pounds.
"It's really working for me," Bynes said in a TikTok to her 467,700 followers. "And I'm trying to lose more weight just to feel skinny and cute. So I will keep taking Ozempic, and I just wanted to post about it because I know that I hadn't made a post about my progress on Ozempic since I posted about it months ago."
Ozempic, like Wegovy and other popular brands, is a GLP-1 receptor agonist originally intended to treat diabetes but now approved for weight loss.
In March 2024, Bynes shared that she gained weight because of her depression.
“I’m doing a lot better now and have learned to do opposite action when I don’t feel like working out or eating clean,” she said at the time. “I weigh 162 pounds right now and want to get back to 110 pounds."
