Terry Crews claims he is still obligated to pay the man who allegedly groped him two years ago.

According to Variety, the actor spoke about his situation during Esquire’s 2018 Mavericks of Hollywood event Tuesday night. Crews has publicly accused Adam Venit, a William Morris Endeavor executive, of grabbing his genitals at a 2016 industry party. The Brooklyn Nine-Nine star has since filed a police report against Venit and has taken legal action against WME, as they continue to employ Venit despite his alleged misconduct.

“This is the deal. What’s so strange and crazy is that I’m still paying them. I go to work, and I still have to send a check to my molester,” Crews told reporters. “This is Hollywood, it is insane. I look at my bank statement, and I’m like, ‘Damn, this is the most wrong thing of all time.’ I’m calling it, I’m going to play this whole thing out. If I don’t get justice, nobody can.”

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is now reviewing Crews’ claims.

Shortly after Crews had accused Venit of sexual assault, WME placed the executive on a 30-day unpaid suspension. He returned to the agency on Nov. 27, and has denied “each and every allegation” made by Crews, according to legal documents obtained by People magazine.

Crews fired WME shortly after he publicly accused Venit. He is now at the United Talent Agency.
