Julia Fox Speaks on Relationship With Kanye West: 'I’m Loving the Ride'

Julia Fox is opening up about her new flame Kanye West.

Days after she and Ye were spotted on multiple dates, the Italian-American actress shed more light on their budding relationship and her “Cinderella moment” with the Donda rapper. Fox told Interview magazine she met Kanye in Miami on New Year’s Eve and had an “instant connection” with him.

“His energy is so fun to be around. He had me and my friends laughing, dancing, and smiling all night,” the Uncut Gems star revealed. “We decided to keep the energy going and fly back to New York City to see Slave Play. Ye’s flight landed at six and the play was at seven and he was there ON TIME. I was impressed. After the play we chose to do dinner at Carbone which is one of my favorite restaurants. Obviously.”

Fox said Kanye took over the Michelin star restaurant and directed an entire photo shoot in front of other patrons. The actress said everyone at Carbone “loved” the stunt and “cheered us on while it was happening.”

But that wasn’t the only surprise Kanye had in store. Kanye also took Fox to a hotel and presented her with some gifts.

“I mean, I’m still in shock. Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes,” she said. “It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment. I don’t know how he did it, or how he got all of it there in time. But I was so surprised. Like, who does things like this on a second date? Or any date!”

Fox went on to say that her time with Kanye has been “so organic,” and expressed optimism about their future.

“I don’t know where things are headed but if this is any indication of the future I’m loving the ride,” she said.
