We never thought the day would come that Snoop Dogg would call someone out for tying one on. But that’s exactly what happens in the first the season of Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner—and that's just one of many WTF moments teased in the show’s just released trailer.
“Martha has been drinking a little bit tonight," Snoop says in his signature laconic drawl. And while booze figures to be a key component whenever these two get together, it won’t be the main course. Based on the early footage, the VH1 cooking show will be heavy on the weed innuendos, which should come as no surprise considering Snoop will welcome fellow potheads Seth Rogen and Wiz Khalifa over the course of season one. And, being the good dinner guest that he is, Wiz doesn’t show up empty handed “I brought some extra seasoning,” he says as he whips out an unidentified green herb that we think it’s safe to say isn’t oregano.
The upcoming show, which premieres on Nov. 7, is just the latest installment in one of Hollywood’s most riveting, oddball friendships. Stewart and Snoop go way back, so it was only natural that the two eventually gave the world a window into their unique dynamic. “My homegirl Martha and I have a special bond that goes back," Snoop said in a statement. "We’re gonna be cooking, drinking and having a good time with our exclusive friends. Can’t wait for you to see how we roll together!”
