A historic day, indeed.

Anticipation has been building for Fallout 4 since at least 2012, two years and three months before it was actually released. November 10, 2015, was a historic day indeed for many Fallout fans as they downloaded the final game in Bethesda's saga. Coincidentally, it was also a historic day for Pornhub. The online purveyor of videos of naked people, um, doing stuff posted an analysis that shows a huge dip in traffic the day Fallout 4 was released.

According to Google analytics, on Nov. 10 most people played Fallout 4 at times they'd normally set aside for watching porn. The site reported a slight increase in traffic between 3 and 4 a.m., then a drop in traffic beginning at 5 a.m. that became even more noticeable between 7 a.m. and noon. Between 2 and 5 p.m. traffic returned to normal levels, but after 6 p.m., when people got home and fired up their games, it dropped off almost completely. After midnight it looks like gamers took a break (and were dealing with some built-up testosterone)—traffic jumped as high as 15 percent above normal levels.

Pornhub also used Google analytics to estimate the relative drop in traffic from people who preferred certain kinds of games.

For a complete analysis, head over to Pornhub's insights page (yeah, they have one of those). More than anything, these datasets prove there's a significant amount of overlap between people who play Fallout and people who watch porn—no surprises there.
