A group of nine, brand-new, Port Authority cops have been fired from the force due to their sloppy drunk behavior at their own police academy graduation party, theNew York Post reports. Three other rookies were suspended without pay.
The now ex-officers were celebrating at a Hoboken, N.J. bar over the summer when some of the still-in-uniform group reportedly went behind the bar and started pouring their own drinks and flashing their badges at bartenders who told them to knock it off.
Others in the group allegedly trashed a bathroom and grabbed a woman's butt.
