Sure, you could buy an extra-creepy Harry Potter Nimbus 200 Vibrating Broomstick for like 30 bucks, but if you're really the No. 1 Harry Potter fan like you claim to be, why not shell out an extra $600,000 or so and buy Potter's childhood home?

The house that served as "4 Privet Drive" in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, the first Potter film, is up for sale, and the asking price is a mere $620,000. According toCNN Moneythat's in line with what other, similar houses in the town of Bracknell, England (about 25 miles outside London) are going for, so you're not even paying a premium for owning a piece of movie history.

If you need to brush up on your Potter knowledge, 4 Privet Drive is the house where Harry lived his first 11 years with his mean aunt and uncle, Vernon and Petunia Dursley. He was left on the steps there as a baby, and was made to live in a cupboard under the stairs.

The three-bedroom house's actual address is 12 Picket Post Close, and the listing says the home features a new driveway and security system, is located close to public transportation, and has a "cloakroom," which is the only part of this that sounds mildly enchanted to an American.

If $600,000 is too much for you, maybe you can convince the person who bought J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter chair for $400,000 to sell it to you for only a small profit. And if you really don't have hundreds of thousands of dollars to spare, you can wait for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them to hit theaters. It's not quite Harry Potter, but it's in the Potterverse, and a ticket shouldn't run you more than $12.
