The already impressive cast of the Jon Watts-helmed Spider-Man: Homecoming just keeps getting deeper. Variety is reporting that comedian Hannibal Buress will join the Marvel Studios project when it starts filming later this summer with Tom Holland playing the title role in the web-slinger's latest reboot.

The news that Buress is in the mix comes just days after news broke that Donald Glover, who at one point was being floated as the next Spider-Man himself, would be joining the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming in a mystery role. Among the other heavyweights set to appear in Homecoming are Michael Keaton, who'll play the villain Vulture; Marisa Tomei who is playing Aunt May; Zendaya, who is playing a character named Michelle; and Robert Downey Jr., who for some reason refuses to confirm an Iron Man appearance in the film.

It's still not clear what Buress' role in Homecoming is going to be. The comedian, who has been killing it on TV for a few years now in shows like Broad City (Ilana and Lincoln forever!) and expertly breaking down the invention of ladders on The Eric Andre Show, has been booking more movie roles lately. He'll be frolicking on the beach with Dwayne Johnson in Baywatch and has a part in The Masterpiece (previously titled The Disaster Artist) alongside Dave and James Franco. That movie will be based on the true story of the making of the best worst movie of all time.

Buress isn't the only new addition to the Homecoming cast. According to The Hollywood Reporter, three relative newcomers, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr. and J.J. Totah , have also signed on for smaller roles.

The movie is set for a July 7, 2017 release.
