A Florida man was arrested on a DUI charge this week after residents of the nation's largest retirement community found him parked in their driveway, drunk, in a golf cart, reports The Villages News.

The Villages, Fla. allows residents to drive the streets in golf carts—they're actually as common as cars there—but 47-year-old James Thornton Hedger was from Leesburg, about 15 miles away.

When deputies arrived they allegedly found an empty bottle of Canadian Mist on the floor of the golf cart and Hedger, who simply said "I can't do it" when they tried to give him a field sobriety test, according to the sheriff's office.

When the deputy asked Hedger for identification, he handed over a prison ID card.

Remember when Jadakiss rapped "And everything is real I see / Like my n***as that been home but they only got a jail ID" on that Nas remix? Yeah, well, literallly nobody was picturing a guy on a golf cart when they heard that (maybe an Aston Vanquish the color of dandruff).

According to the site it turns out records show Hedger had a long criminal history including DUI arrests, battery, probation violations and burglary.

Amazingly, it's just one of a whole lot of golf cart DUIs going down in The Villages, to the point where there's actually a guy who advertises himself specifically as a golf cart DUI lawyer. Who knew?
